The different forms of calculating fees

FEES BASED ON WORK DONE

GOURION SOUBEYRAND & Partenaires sets its fees in principle on a time basis. The fees will be invoiced by means of account and may be the subject of summary invoices during your case’s progress, or at the end of the case. At any time, the client can ask for a due diligence time sheet. This hourly rate is subject to the VAT rate in force on the date of issue of the invoice.

PACKAGE FEE

The lawyer and client may agree on a fixed fee, the amount of which will be freely determined under the regulatory criteria. The invoice’s full amount will be due regardless of the duration of the dispute, the services performed or the result obtained.

SUCCESS FEE

The lawyer and client may expressly agree on a success fee but only in addition to the hourly or package basis.

This success fee may consist of a lump sum or a percentage of the sum(s) received or saved by the client.

DISPUTES

Disputes over the nature, purpose of the service, the hourly rate or the amount of the invoice must be brought before the Bâtonnier of the Bar Association of Lyon.

Non-professional clients also have the right to appeal to a consumer mediator for the amicable settlement of the dispute.
